# 21 Million

I am creating 21 paintings.
|
|
|
|
This painting is 9 inches wide and 12 inches long.
|
|
|
|
Each one will have a sticker of the bitcoin supply schedule summation afixed to it.
|
|
|
|
Each one will have a nostr key assigned to it. The keys were mined with [rana](https://github.com/grunch/rana) with the first characters being `2lml8` which stands for 21 million divided by infinity. I used a lower case l because 1 is not allowed in npubs and 8 represents infinity.

|
|
This is the first of 21 Milion
|
|
|
|
They key is encrypted using AES from this website:

|

|
|

This artwork is zappable. The zaps currently go to my lightning address, but the new key will be transfered and the lightning address can be changed.

If this painting sells I will transfer ownership to the buyer and announce it on nostr like the people on the island of Yap announced changes in the ownership of [rai stones](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rai_stones). The idea is to transfer ownership on a decentralized communications protocol. It is not an NFT. It is a picture of a physical painting with a nostr key. **Transfering ownership with a cryptography does not require a blockchain**. You only need to announce you are transfering ownership of the painting to another npub.
