I'm selling roasted cashews on my freedom tech blog as an experiment in capitalism. I make them myself and in the spirit of free and open source software, I figured I would open source the recipe with a catch. You can get the recipe in one of two ways.

1. Become a paid subscriber to my Substack and you will get a key to unlock the PGP ciphertext.
|
|
2. Read it in the clear(unencrypted) on nostr.
|
|
|
|
Since PGP isn't as popular as apps the U.S. Government bans like TikTok, I'm writing a little PGP tutorial.
|
|
|

1. Download an app named Open Keychain from the Google Play Store, assuming it doesn't get banned by the time you read this. Or....You can [download it on F-Droid](https://www.openkeychain.org/)
|
|
2. If you're one of those people who hates the Android Open Source Project, I hear PGP Encrypt isn't terrible](https://primal.net/e/note1za28yd4krr5n9cgnmynfmyacg7vhe8x3szzzvh4xa49ujsjluwts8ldvg4).

3. Select the ciphertext and copy it into open keychain.
|
|
|

Decrypt using the passlhrase below the Paywall.

Here is the decrypted recipe if you don't really want to use PGP.

|
1 LB organi raw cashews
|
|
2 TBS beef tallow
|
|
2 TBS salt
|
|
1 TBS garlic powder
|
|
|
|
Melt tallow in the microwave
|
|
Brush the tallow on the nuts. Spread onto a cookie sheet.
|
|
|
|
Preheat oven 350 degrees
|
|
|
|
Bake for 10 minutes.
|
|
|
|
Let cool.
|

|
